Nanograde's role in the project is the development of ink-jet printable ink
formulations with the following requirements:
- Formation of high-performance OSSC's
- Suitable printability properties (e.g. by ink-jet or screen-printing)
- Suitable wettability properties
- Scalability of ink to production level
Nanograde is the leader in the tailor-made development of specialty
nanoparticles and inorganic inks. Nanograde is able to custom-develop innovative ink
formulations precisely on the industry needs. Nanograde's technology and knowhow enable ultra-fast proof-of-concepts and short development cycles.
Nanograde Ltd was founded in 2008 as a spin-off company of ETH Zurich and is
nowadays a leader in the field of customized inks for printed electronics.

SAMUEL
HALIM is co-founder of Nanograde Ltd. He obtained a
PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Insitute of Technology (ETH). Samuel has worked with Nanograde's technology since 2003 and is co-inventor of technology that was acquired by a Fortune 100 company. Samuel is winner of the Venture Leader 2009 award.
Presently, he is CEO at Nanograde Ltd.
NORMAN LUECHINGER is co-founder of Nanograde Ltd. He obtained a
PhD in Chemical Engineering at the Swiss Federal Insitute of
Technology (ETH). He has worked in the field of electronic and
nanoparticle based inks since 2004 and has published 24 scientific
publications. Presently, he is CTO at Nanograde Ltd and he is in charge for the materials development.
